Baikal in autumn is very picturesque and quiet.  The influx of tourist decreases and you can enjoy solitary and meditative atmosphere of these beautiful places.  The month of September brings nice colours of Indian summer.  You can still catch the last sunny warm days before the nature starts to fall asleep.  The trees are of different bright colours, the water becomes  dark blue, the firs are clean green and the larches are fresh.  This is the best time to capture breath-taking pictures.  The months of October and November are more severe, the first snow begins to fall and  the first ice forms near the lake shores.
