Summer in Baikal begins a little bit later comparing to the nearest areas.  It isn’t long but the summer days here are bright,  cool and very mild.  In June we still feel the sprig breath that changes slowly leaving after itself hundreds of colourful flowers: lilies, rhododendrons, poppies.  Fresh herbs blossom on the meadows. July is the hottest month, the sun beats down and you can get a  tan instantly.  The strong wind blows, it cleans the sky and raises pretty waves on the lake. But if you want to enjoy swimming in the lake it’s better to chose August, when the water heats to its maximum temperature  of + 24° C. In mid-August the air temperature cools down slowly and you waking up in the morning you can capture the dense fog all around, that creates incredible views.
